The Swiss Avancon SA is getting more and more satisfied customers. As this logistics center from Avancon’s license partner in South Korea, ASETEC. „This is a great honor for us, as we see another success with a satisfied customer, “ says Dieter Specht, the President and Co-founder of Avancon SA. This large self-contained overall system of a typical logistics and distribution center of one of the most important pharmaceutical distributors in South Korea.
Avancon’s satisfied customer in South Korea realized just a second Logistics and Distribution center, which will be even larger than the one which was installed 4 years ago. The final customer is one of the biggest pharmaceutical distributers in South Korea. Obviously, they like the modern and smooth design of the Avancon Concept, which combines an overall elegant impression with the ability to easily configure, install and maintain it, make it both efficient and safe for staff to work with.
The photos show parts of the second logistics center with large and complex conveor systems of Avancon. The use of silk matt anodized aluminum adds to the clean and modern look, and the fact that nothing sticks out or protrudes, no motors or control boxes or pins for guidance, which ensures that it doesn’t impede workspace or cause hazards. Everything is already installed inside the closed aluminum frames. Besides a standardized design language also improves the accuracy and precision of manual operations, such as order picking and control, due to reduced cognitive load and clutter in the workspace.
Additionally, the modularity of the Avancon components means that the system can be easily adapted and expanded as needed, making it a great investment for long-term use. This modern Avancon Concept not only adds to the aesthetics of the center but also enhances the functionality and the simplicity of the system. The entire logistics center is groundbreaking, a spectacular combination of modern design and breathtaking performance.
In the new second logistics center has ca. 2200 m Avancon roller conveyors, 70 roller curves and 190 OTU (omnidirectional transfer unit) tables as corners, transfers, diverters and sorter installed. Even Up- and Down-transport is made on Avancon rollerconveyors, where the rollers are equipped with softer Polyurethan tires. Aesthetically this keeps the equal overall conveyor design and reduces complex maintenance and downtimes.
This ZPC-Concept was designed and produced by Avancon’s license partner in South Korea, ASETEC Co. Ltd, a very innovative specialist for intra-logistics systems.
For the system-integrator it is important, that most conveyor sections can be complete assembled inhouse, including all motors, cables and controls inside the frame. This makes the installation at site much faster and easier and reduces installation costs. In addition, it saves the central control cabinet and cable pulling at site.
