At the MetalExpo fair, HASEL exhibited the C and CB series solutions from Irish manufacturer Combilift, designed for handling and storing long loads in the iron, steel and metal sector. The four-way forklifts can carry long loads in aisles around 3 metres wide and stack them into racks; the company states that this saves at least 50 percent of space in warehouse and racking areas.
The Combilift C series, including the C4000 diesel model shown at the fair, is designed to handle loads of 5-6 metres and longer, such as roof panels, trapezoidal sheet, iron and steel profiles, pipes and steel/plastic pipe systems. Its sideways driving capability allows safe manoeuvring in narrow-aisle warehouses where ordinary forklifts fall short.
For manufacturers facing space constraints
Combilift is designed for iron and steel, aluminium, profile and panel manufacturers facing space and area constraints. HASEL, which has offered the product group in the Turkish market since 2014, provides it through long-term rental options as well as new product sales.
