Once the SmartDrop pouch has reached the correct destination station, it is opened by the automatic unloading device and the item is guided to the work station. There, the items are scanned manually once more, packaged, and prepared for shipping. At the same time, the SmartDrop pouch continues on to the next closing station, where it is closed at lightning speed and is then ready to receive the next item.
