To meet the supply chain demands of thousands of Café Amazon outlets, PTT Oil and Retail Business required efficient management of its newly established distribution center. This presented several challenges:
- Catering to the diverse needs of over 4,000 shops across Thailand, involving an extensive variety of goods
- Ensuring efficient operations of the distribution center located 70 kilometers from Bangkok
- Synchronizing and automating various logistics processes seamlessly
The solution
The solution features a unique blend of technologies:
- Interroll Modular Conveyor Platform (MCP) for smooth and efficient transportation of over 20,000 boxes
- Integration of Qimarox lifts, powered by Interroll RollerDrive, for safe and efficient vertical logistics management
- Installation of a fully automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) serving as the primary storage for 25,000 pallets
- Interroll Crossbelt Sorter fed by six robots and boasting a capacity exceeding 7,200 boxes per hour
